The building of the Kallithea Agricultural Club (or Youth Center, as the residents call it) was erected in the 1960s. It is located in the central square of the village and although it does not have any remarkable or special architectural elements, it presents some interesting typical features of popular architecture of its time (stone plinth and pediment with cornice on the roof, oblong shape) with references to the tradition of the area (oblong wooden-pillared semi-outdoor space/porch). With an area of 180 sq.m. it was considered that it has the appropriate dimensions for the creation of an amphitheater/loft with a capacity of 120-150 people together with a stage, a space for installing a projection machine and dressing rooms, so the space was chosen to be renovated and serve cultural, recreational and educational activities in Prespa (theatre, lectures , conferences, concerts etc.).
The study for the renovation of the building was carried out with a donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and the construction projects are implemented by the Municipality through the Leader program.
The Agrotoleshes were founded in the 1950s and 1960s in the countryside of Greece (mainly in small towns and villages) and were – in today’s terms – adult training schools or vocational training schools, with the aim of training the young men and women of the countryside in useful professions, which responded to the conditions of the time in the context of the household and agricultural economy. Later – in most cases, they were used as places for cultural or other events.

The work schedule foresees the completion of the project by the end of 2025.
