The environmental education program titled “Into the Secrets of Junipers” was designed within the framework of the LIFE+ Nature program (Junex) for middle school students. The activities aim to provide students with information about the priority habitat “Greek Juniper Forests” in Prespa, the species of flora and fauna found there, and their importance, as well as to identify the role of human activity in the preservation of these forests. The program can be implemented in two classroom sessions and one field session specifically at Devas Mountain. The materials include a teacher’s guide, worksheets and instructions, and an evaluation sheet.
