Agios Germanos is located in the homonymous village of Prespa. According to tradition and archaeological data, it is dedicated to Agios (Saint) Germanos, patriarch of Constantinople (Istanbul). It is possible that it was also the bishop’s church of the archpriestly throne of Prespa during the last centuries of the Turkish occupation. Agios Germanos is a cruciform church with a dome, dating back to the beginning of the 11th century.
