On the weekend of 10th and 11th of May, the Mobile Unit of Theagenio Hospital for the prevention of breast cancer will be in Prespa and will carry out free clinical examinations for women from 35 to 65 years old.
The examinations will take place at the old Town Hall, in the “Lazaros Nalpantidis” conference room. The women who come should have their latest imaging test (mammography, breast ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging) with them.
Interested women should make an appointment by contacting the Lefkonas medical center (tel.: 23850462840) or in consultation with the workers of the “Help at Home” program.
The mobile unit has the capacity for clinical examination (palpation) of 50 women and mammography of 20 women/day. The decision on women requiring immediate mammography will be made by the doctors of the Surgical Breast Oncology Department.
The action is carried out with the support of the Municipality of Prespa.
